ELA: With prompting and support, read prose and poetry of appropriate complexity for grade 1. and MU:Pr6.2.1 Perform music for a specific purpose with expression and technical accuracy through singing, performing and/or moving. In my classroom, we will expand our classroom library in order to have more materials to capture the students’ interests. These new books will focus on making connections about manners and emotions. The Music teacher will be continuing the learning through the use music. Beat and rhythm have been proven to enhance student’s learning and internalizing of language.
