Our 5th graders utilize a rigorous online curriculum that has incorporated within it a heavy worksheet component. Students have to organize hundreds of worksheets at home, sometimes with very little support from their at-home adults. A month and a half into the school year, these giant packets of worksheets that we had printed for them are scattered all over their rooms and students are having trouble locating the assignments they need to complete. In addition, once the worksheets are completed, students then need to take a picture of the worksheet to be graded. We are finding that the front cameras on our student's district-provided laptops are inadequte when the lighting and angle is bad. This results in hours of extra work by the teacher and student in order to get a quality photo of the work. These items will help save my students countless hours locating missing worksheets and reducing the amount of time it currently takes to get clear photos of their work. The binders will help students keep their worksheets organized. The ring light and clipboard will help students to take good, clear photos of their work. Our students work hard and we want to give them credit for all they do.
