Students will use crayons and markers to complete worksheets about Social Emotional Learning. Fidgets will be used in calming corners in classrooms and to aid and support students who are expressing trauma or frustrated. Board games will aid students who are in small groups and need to work on coping strategies. Posters will help to create a colorful and exciting classroom once again. It will get students excited about coming into my room. Students recently came in our first day back and said "it's so white." The speaker allows them to listen to calming music which we use when doing mindfulness.
