After learning remotely, my first grade students are more than ready to learn in school and in a way that promotes talking, sharing, problem-solving, and teamwork. When the students are engaged in an activity that requires them to talk and share, they learn not only from the activity but from each other. Having more STEM building materials and educational games in my classroom will encourage talking and learning amongst each other. These activities will also be extremely beneficial for my English Language Learners. Collaboration and social interactions is key to becoming a well-rounded student.
