Students will be learning about an immigrant family from the 1940"s and will be learning in class. It will develop and enrich their reading & speaking skills in the target language which is Spanish. Students will be able to articulate and discuss the theme of the book and be able to speak about the characters that are developed in the the book. Students will learn new vocabulary that presented in chapter and students will be to create new sentences with each new word. It is a fascinating book that will I want my students to read.
