My students prefer to learn with interactive lessons that I can display on a Smart TV The technology I currently use is old and ineffective and I have resorted to "Pen and Paper" which does not keep them engaged. A smart TV will allow me to provide differentiated instruction using technology that my Special Needs students need in order to work towards achieving grade-level standards. My students love working with technology and the more interactive I can make the lessons, the more engaged I can keep them. A colleague of mine received a Smart TV for his Special Education Students and it was a game-changer. Not only is he able to provide interactive lessons, but he also uses his Smart TV as a reward to play games or watch a short movie.
