Our students spend 4-6 hours every day working on a computer and collaborating online. They change groups, they move from small group to whole group and back multiple times, and find the comfort of our one bouncy ball chair wonderful. But we only have one to share. While students are online collaborating and working in small groups most of the day, they are also sitting most of the time. We have a handful of stand-up desks, which we use for small groups and just to help out students who need a different setting to succeed. We also use these big rubber bands on our regular chairs to help students who need to constantly move, but we've found the bouncy ball chairs just seem to work better for virtually all of our students. We think that this one item could greatly aid in our classroom learning and management.
