Flexible seating in classrooms has recently been linked to more focus, attention, collaboration, and creativity. As a teacher, it is my goal to offer more flexible seating options in my classroom in order to promote focus, which will lead to the absorption of more knowledge. In our classroom we currently have a few options for flexible seating, but it is not enough for each student to have a choice. By bringing in an additional wobble cushions and floor seating, each students will have access to a more focused education. As students enter our classroom each day, they will be able to choose their wobble cushion, place it on their desk chair, and begin working while being more focused and alert!
