These books will be used in the ENL classroom so that students will be exposed to print-rich reading materials to support them in language learning; including listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. Many of these books are non-fiction and they will really support language learning through visuals and real-life connections. These books will be rotated throughout the year so students are exposed to a variety of texts and some will be used in whole-class activities such as read alouds. These books will also be used to Austin teach vocabulary and content that students may be studying in their grade-level classroom setting.
