These books can be taken home and read, as well as stay in the classroom to reinforce reading skills. Some of my students can not afford books on their own. During our recent book fair, people donated to students to get a book. The majority of my kids received the free books. I want them to have a library at home to be able to love to read. Books that they can take home and read with their parents and siblings. Reading is vital and without enough books, they can not learn the joy of getting away in a book.
