Number Sense and Reading Foundational skills, such as letter recognition are the foundations of Kindergarten. My Kindergarten students need hands-on activities to help keep their attention and solidify the learning that takes place in the classroom. These ELA and Math centers will provide my students with hands-on learning centers that will be engaging and standard based which makes the table magnetic easels and premade centers that I have picked for this project will help my kindergarten students achieve the essential kindergarten goals. The pre-made centers will allow students to practice skills, such as numbers, letters, sounds, and sight words. (RF.K.1d, RF.K.1b, RF.K.3c, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.A.3) I feel that by providing these fun and engaging centers will encourage my students need to learn thorough hands-on and play and become independent learners.
