I am requesting neon markers, calculators, notebooks, pencils and more. I can never have enough pencils! I have 160 kids come through my room each day, despite my best efforts it is hard to keep pencils arounds, and I always want my students to have basic supplies. In science my students use calculators to calculate density, velocity, speed, time, AND the number of neutrons in an atom. I do not want math to get in the way of our learning! Who knew calculators were so expensive!? Having a class set will keep us calculating! The neon markers will allow us to break our normal routine and solve math problems with a partner on or tables, or let us draw a build a Bohr model for classmates!
