My project is about having strategies to meet the sensory needs of my students. My classroom encompasses students with Autism in grade ranging from Kindergarten to fifth grade with varying abilities. Students on the Autism spectrum require sensory reinforcement to engage in order to manage their self - stimulatory behaviors and to participate effectively in large group and small group academic tasks that require focus and attention. The items chosen have their specific sensory needs in mind. Please help me provide alternative seating and engaging sensory tools to help my students be successful learners in the classroom
