At the end of this year, prior to AP tests, I would love to do small group literature circles with high interest fiction and non fiction for my students to enjoy. I want students to take ownership of this book and take it home, read in bed, read in the cafeteria, read anywhere! Picture yourself cramming for a test filled with titles from the cannon, then have the opportunity to get a great book written by an author that looks just like you. This is exactly what my students need. Since our school does not have a library, this will be a great resource for them!
