These materials will make a difference in the classroom for all students who are imaginative readers and explorers of inquiring minds. These students enjoy tactile activities with whom they are creative with making sensory objects and understanding spatial awareness using the shapes with the place mats. Listening and speaking skills first gained in the English language arts classroom are essential to helping students be active and strong learners in every other classroom and must be encouraged and practiced in the classroom This project will be used for beginning readers, on level readers and high readers with non fiction, books, fiction books , and reading comprehension passages for those who are independent readers. My goal as a teacher is to give Nevada children the tools and experiences that will help them not only to succeed in school but also to become lifelong and adept readers, writers, listeners, and speakers.
