My first grade students are busy and active! I am requesting wobble chairs to be used for small group instructional time. This will allow my kids to be active yet attentive during our mini lessons. I am also asking for several items that are hands on that will be used in lessons for both math and reading. I lost all of my listening center books and CDs due to the flood and I am looking to replace several of them over time. The math manipulatives for ten frames and pattern blocks will be used to reinforce skills during small group time as well. My students will be so excited to have wobble chairs so that they can get their wiggles out while still attending to our lessons. We lost our class set of desk bouncy bands in the floodwaters, but I cannot replace those yet due to not having a classroom/desks of our own. Thank you for your consideration in funding my project.
