"Dude, this guy was crazy," exclaimed a student presenting about John Brown's raid on Harper's Ferry. The class laughed; I yearned to encourage his excitement with a book about John Brown. But I'm a new teacher with no books to share. Help me inspire future changemakers, for we are doomed to repeat the past if we don't learn from it. My 10th graders are eager to soak up more about the Civil War and I want to offer a library for them to check-out books to learn more. Thank you for considering!
