I'm a first year teacher in need of a carpet area for my classroom. If I was given a carpet for my classroom, I would use it for various types of learning but mostly for read alouds, small group instruction, and calendar time. Since the classroom is quite large, it is hard to have students find a comfortable place to sit where everyone can listen to a story and see the illustrations. If I had this carpet in my classroom, we could have calendar time and story time all in one place!
