Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. In Kindergarten, we spend a lot of time learning to read. I am trying to revamp my classroom library by adding colorful organization to it and new reading center activities. This will address standards ELA RF.K.1d, RF.K.2, and RF.K.2a. My hope is that these things will get them excited about learning to read. The reading center activities will help my students engage with each other to work on their social skills along with their reading skills.
