The unique science curriculum will help each student develop the skills and resources to be innovators who are not afraid to think outside the box. This additional equipment will provide students with hands-on projects. These resources will help organize instruction to provide students with opportunities to develop an understanding of core ideas in ways that reflects the ideas that science is both a body of knowledge and a set of practices used to establish, extend, and refine that knowledge. Students are GWHS will have the opportunity to experience additional hands on science experiments and hands on projects. I am excited for these experiments and for the opportunity for each students to make their own 3D model of a cell. At GWHS the science department is extremely excited to give every student the lifetime skills of design and innovation.
