Students come to visit the library every morning before school for the opportunity to participate in makerspaces activities. The kids love building with Legos, but our school needs more Legos in order for more kids to participate. Students are enjoying Lego challenges where they are competing with other students to create something that rolls, something that represents themselves, something that is practical, etc. I love that these challenges get kids to create and connect with other kids. Students are telling their friends about what they’re doing in the library and the crowd is growing!

About my class
