"If you love books enough, books will love you back." - Jo Walton. Every child should grow up with a good book in their libraries that cultivate their love of reading. My goal is to provide a book for each child to bring home to their personal libraries. Growing up, my favorite books were the "I Read to You, You Read to Me" series. I want all of my students to feel the togetherness of sharing a book with their grownups, feeling loved and important with every page. I've also picked books that will strengthen my students' mental health awareness because it is such an important part of our classroom culture.
