If this project is funded, students will have the opportunity to read books at their level on a wide variety of topics. Choosing books can be very fun for students, but, due to the limited amount of resources, students do not have a variety of books to choose from on their level. Having a wide variety of books for them to choose from helps engage the students and expands their knowledge. Our school uses Accelerated Reader which is a program used all around the country. This program is used to ensure students are reading on their reading level. It is my hope that having these books will help my students who are below grade level increase to being on grade level.
