Students in my First Grade classroom will use phonics games and flashcards to master the alphabet, sight word reading, and phonics decoding skills they need to become fluent readers. They will learn basic coding and building skills to become the engineers and software designers of the future. They will use games to gain fluency with addition, subtraction, place value, and problem solving to excel in mathematics. These games will allow students to work together in the classroom so they can master the necessary skills of collaboration in the 21st century.

About my class
