I believe having this corner will completely transform the climate of the classroom. Our little guys will have a place to go and figure out their frustrations. In dealing with students who have "unique" abilities, it is important that they have structure and routines. I believe having this corner will provide just that. Both my verbal and non-verbal stars will gain use from having this corner. This sensory corner can be used as a tool to help our stars who have body ticks and agitation to refocus. It can also help our non-verbal stars express themselves.
