I will use the materials as an intervention for my below grade level, ELL, and IEP students. For example, I will use the kindles as a center for students to listen to stories, ask and answer questions (RL.2.1-3). I will use the letters to work on phonics for letter and sound recognition. (RF.2.3) I will use the markers to have students practice writing (W.2.1-3). The magnetic math manipulative will be used to have students work on using strategies to add & subtract using place value (2.NBT.B). These manipulatives will also assist students in understanding number sense and counting.
