These materials will be used in the classroom. I am their only teacher with the exception of their Spanish teacher, so my students do not have an art teacher; I am it! So I really want to incorporate more art into the lessons I teach them. At least once a week I would like to give an art assignment that ties into what I am teaching them, whether it is for language arts, math, or science! That way, it is a bit of art class mixed in with their lesson that they are being taught. My students and I are tired of doing just worksheets in class and I believe that bringing art and creativity into the classroom will liven up our lessons a lot.
