Having a good library in the classroom makes all the difference in my students learning. For instance, a new library of Spanish books will allow us to do projects based on books that interest students. It will take us away from using screens and will encourage kids to read for pleasure in the target language. Many of my students cannot afford to buy books so a Spanish library in the classroom will benefit those students. After Covid and online learning, my students value doing activities that do not involve using a computer or a screen.
