In this project students will learn about the imapct of graffiti and street artists from the past as well as artists currently working. We will explore lettering styles, meaningful themes and subject matter and continue to apply the elements of art and principles of design. Students will be able to express their creativity and engage in art-making in a way that is meaningful to them by learning how to spray paint stencils and lettering. Many students in my classes have not had the opportunity to use these materials and have always wanted to. Your donations will help spark the imagination of a new generation of artists!
