Using American School Counselor Association standards for our counseling department, the fidget toys, pop-its, futons, lamps and coloring books are all SEL tools our counseling department could use to assist our caseloads. These items will help our department have a better and more comprehensive school counseling program. We need items to help deescalate angry or upset students in our offices. We want them to use these tools as often as possible. Students will be able to have: B-SMS 2. Self-discipline and self-control B-SMS 6. Ability to identify and overcome barriers B-SMS 7. Effective coping skills
