I am creating a library of social emotional learning books for teachers to use as read alouds with their K1-2nd grade scholars including follow up lessons and activities. Our entire lower school has a theme based on SEL focuses, cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion. These books will serve as the tool for important work. We need these supports more than ever. These important read aloud books on social emotional learning, diversity and inclusion will help expand important conversations and perspectives for my students ages 4-8 and allow 25 classrooms access to these crucial materials. We are trying to revamp our SEL program and this library of important books recommended and researched by Books Across America is a great start for teachers to have access to sharing these books so students to enrich there social emotional learning. Thank you in advance for your help! We really will benefit from it!
