With these new books, my students will all be able to take a copy home without worrying about their books falling apart. Being able to take books home help students better understand what is learned in class by being able to reiterate concepts and ideas while sharing those concepts with family members. Some students have told me "I don't read novels" - being able to put a novel in a child's hands that helps foster relationships, equility, and making connections with characters is a life lesson they will never forget.
