Students are dealing with even more anxiety than ever before. And in our district, speech class is required by all to graduate. The course requirements are to give multiple speeches and presentstionsThe hardest part is delivering speeches and performances out loud in front of an audience. My plan is to utilize VR to give them real delivery practice to help allay their fears and anxiety as much as possible before presenting to a live audience. We will use this during class time but also during tutoring, lunch or any other time they need.
