When I am working with a reading group, my other students need to be working independently on other activities. These activities include listening to a story at the listening center or working with technology to read books at their specific reading level. The laptops will provide the opportunity for my students to work independently and better meet the needs of my diverse classroom of learners. My students will be so excited to use the listening center to listen to a variety of fiction and non-fiction stories. They will want to use the tempera painters for art!
