With a larger table, Covid distancing is still honored while students can work together in a group setting. They can converse and interact with one another proactively in as equals. This allows students to collaborate effectively in discussions and in work. Being in table groups will help build community, collaboration, and social skills that were dormant during distance learning. My experience has shown that students working in table groups has encouraged collaborations amongst students and improved peer-assisted learning outcomes. CCSS-ELA: SL.4.1- Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions. SS4.8- Students will participate in active academic discussions.
