Our reading nook will be an inviting and safe place to get acquainted with books and comfortable with reading. This little haven will also be a pleasant place to feel safe when school gets overwhelming. We were gifted with a mural of a backyard scene of a tree with a tree house. The log, flower and leaf pillows, along with the leaf carpet will complete the natural setting and create a cozy reading space. The accompanying books are to enrich the reading experience of our students. This project address All 5 of the SEAD Social Emotional Competences and the Reading Literature Standards K-5.

About my class
