With the growing number of students being seen in the counseling office each year, more supplies are needed. To keep students safe and to sanitize effectively, the addition of fidgets would be allow more students to be able to utilize the calming room during the day. The lamps would help provide a low-light setting for the students. The rolling bins and colored pencils are useful when we have to travel out of the office to meet with students. The bins can hold pencils, markers, and other art materials that students can use to calm themselves. Essential oils are helpful in creating an atmosphere to help students de-stress. The donations to this project will help my students have a comfortable place to when feeling stressed and overwhelmed, which will allow them to be more attentive when in class. Providing these additions will give students the ability to make the most out of the room and all that the school has to offer.
