These books are needed for our leveled library. As a first-year teacher, my library is scarce and I have noticed that a lot of the books that were given to me are higher than first or second grade. I work at a low-income school where most children are receiving free lunches and other things. The students are at a lower level than my books and I want to provide options for their individual book bags. The students always get excited when I receive a new book, but getting many new books that they can read individually will really make them happy!
