These items will help me truly bring in STEAM learning into our online classroom. STEAM learning means integrating subject areas into applicable experiences, especially in a virtual classroom. This iPad will take science into math. It takes art into reading, it creates moments for literacy. The students within my virtual classroom will benefit from the Ipad and document camera by allowing them to see real, in-time instruction via these items. Which in turn helps keep engagement and learning going throughout the day. The document camera will allow me to teach lessons on a variety of topics that are directly in support of the Nevada Academic Content Standards: patterns, solving math problems by drawings, effectively teach writing lessons where I need to model how to use a combination of drawing, dictating to compose opinion pieces. The document camera will quickly become a staple to every lesson!
