Keeping the classroom clean is as important as teaching them the content standards. Health should be prioritize and be given emphasis. Children with special needs require extra love and care. Keeping them safe and healthy is the top of my priority. While I focus more in keeping them healthy, the other teacher in our classroom is focusing more in their IEP goals and the NVACS or Nevada Academic Content Standards. With this help I can ensure that our classroom is clean and safe for them. Most of our students lay on the ground, are given assistance when eating and transition. Since we went back full time, I always sanitize the classroom. With the help of the vacuum's carpet shampoo, I can guarantee that our floor will be clean enough every time they will have a bad day and stay on the ground may it be learning or just needing time to calm down. Thank you for all your help.
