These materials will help students to expand their abilities, as well as learn and create with new mediums. These will help creating both artistic and utilitarian items to express their artistic knowledge and views in both public and private settings. From silk-screening to ceramics, they will have the opportunity to create meaningful artworks that can be displayed both stationary, as well as on utilitarian items like clothes. This will help them to express their opinions and showcase their artwork in one step. Student will be creating artworks based upon our core principles of the International Baccalaureate program, as well as personal beliefs on both displayable artworks and wearable items. This will aid in their understanding of art for the purpose of art and art for personal expression.
