Louisville Middle School has a robust and expanding Science and STEM program that prepares students for a wide variety of careers in the 21st century. In 6th grade, students spend about 30% of the year learning about cells and microbiology. This learning is foundational for their future understanding of Biology and other advanced science. We currently share 8 microscopes among 222 6th graders. We are seeking to provide our 6th graders with access to more microscopes for labs. They'll use them to conduct experiments that help them learn more about the human body and about science itself.
