Through the science/STEAM products I selected for my students, they will be able to build and explore their ideas. Students will work with partners to build a prototype of a proposed needed object and develop a model using a representation to describe the scientific principle or design solution. Students will also be asking questions about the experiment and/or design and defining the problems they encounter. The paper and cutting machine will assist in presentation of student projects as well as in the management of materials and supplies of the projects. The speaker requested is to allow students to hear audio on our daily lessons in reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies, as the only audio source we have in our classroom is the computer speaker, which does not broadcast very loud. All students will benefit from hearing the lessons and information presented. SEP-3 Planning and Carrying Out Investigations 3-5-ETS1-1 Define a simple design problem reflecting a need or a want that includes specified criteria for success and constraints on materials, time, or cost.
