Canvas painting for kids is an excellent activity that fosters creative exploration, skill-building, confidence-building, and develops cognitive skills! I would have a step-by-step instructional painting tutorial for my students. Clay is a substance that can be molded into an endless number of forms. Clay would be used for sculpture art, which is a great way to utilize fine and gross motor skills as well as being therapeutic. Students will love the feeling of the mushy clay, allowing them to be messy and free. The best part of all is they will complete the project by using acrylic paint once the clay hardens and is complete.
