My goal is to grow a classroom library where the children can find a book they enjoy. Reading shouldn't be a chore. I would love for my students to find a book from my library where they absolutely can't put down. This is the first step to fostering a love for reading. I believe that a good reader knows what they like to read. Hopefully, when they leave my classroom, the students can tell me the types of books they like to read, and more importantly what they don't like. This shows me that they have read different types of books and know what they enjoy.
