Because of their disabilities, some of my students struggle academically, emotionally and socially. My hope is that we can work together to learn and practice healthier coping skills and improve their social skills and interactions with others. I love books by Julia Cook because they cover a variety of topics and present the information in a more relatable way for my students. This is why I selected books by her and other books similar to her. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will be used find different activities and curriculum that will work with these books to add an extra layer of learning for my students.
