Through the use of various manipulatives, kindergarten students will be engaged. This will help them master the Common Core Standards by meeting the needs of all students. Math is a hard subject to teach in Kindergarten and through the use of the various manipulatives, it will be used as a visual aid and supplemental material. Students are noticeably more engaged in their work when they are using hands on and engaging activities! Centers in Kindergarten is a great way for the teacher to gain understanding of where students are, these literacy and math manipulatives and games will help with the putting together of various centers.
