The students in my class come with varied special needs. Some have ADHD, some have autism and some have anxiety disorders. I strive to help them learn how to work together to solve their own problems and to help each other manage the sometimes complicated landscape of public school. A varied repertoire of materials will support my diversified class in working together toward improving social skills and emotional aptitude. They will be able to journal, work on figurative language skills, read or participate in art therapy to achieve those goals using the materials in this project.
