We will be doing a book study on the book Out of My Mind! This book is about a student with a developmental disability and how she overcomes her disability. This book will teach empathy and compassion to my students who also have developmental disabilities. This project will give every student a book to read along with me and they can use the book to answer guided comprehension questions about the book. I believe that this book will so my students that we are all different and we can learning to overcome our challenges.
