This will help my scholars learn and read more about non fiction topics as we explore our sharing the planet planner and begin to think about inherited traits as well as environmental changes. Scholars will use the magazines to help them develop a summative project that discusses an animal and the changes it goes through. Such as adaptation, inherited traits, any environmental changes, and any other surprising but interesting facts about the animal of their choosing. I also hope to use the magazines to help scholars develop a love for non fiction texts, as it becomes more child friendly, like the articles in the magazines.

About my class
